Today we will start posting to our new site. We would like the "Friends of the Belle River" to belong to those of us that care about the preservation of the natural habitat as well as the rural character of Riley Township. We will post, periodically, pictures of the river and its wildlife. We will also be posting about those that want to change or eliminate the protections that are in place for the river and the surrounding areas, as well as those that support it.
Please send your thoughts and send along pictures that you may have that will support the preservation of the Belle River and its surroundings. Let us know if you to are a "Friend of the Belle River".

Dave Rushing and Al Titus don't believe in river conservation. VOTE THEM OUT!!!!! If you don't believe me, ask a planning comm. member, or go to a meeting and see for yourself.
very little surprises me any more. bring out more friends to see these meetings. It is amazing that so many elected officials can act in such unproffessional ways and say so many foolish things. Some agenda items put forward as "propose" are nothing more than nonsense so Rushing can here himself talk..they are certainly not the issues that are on the Riley residents' minds! Smoking?
